Spotify was so unbelievably great for a while. It's a pity Spotify, like Apple & Disney and so many other huge, faceless corporations today that people count on and use every day of their lives has such open contempt, indifference & disdain for their loyal, paying customers. If there's a tiny bit of ambient light in the room, it's fucking INVISIBLE. Oh, and while I've got your attention, why in GOD'S GREEN FUCK is the scrubber button to scroll through playlists MEDIUM GREY ON A DARK GREY BACKGROUND?!?!? WHAT KIND OF MONSTER DOES THIS?!? The only way I can see it is if the room is completely dark. I don't know what went wrong (guessing the "update" that was "improving" the already-perfect app was the culprit like call worthless improvments updates are supposed to offer). Or, to make matters more infuriating, it will let me play one song from my phone.then not let me play ANYTHING else, but only THAT SONG - and only from my phone (I physically have to go back & change it on the desktop).

Now, if I play anything from my desktop and try to change the song or do anything from my phone, it won't react, at all won't let me change the track or do anything except stop/start the track playing from the desktop app.

So now, apparently, there's been some new updates and Connect doesn't work for shit. Then, years ago, they did away with drag-&-drop for local files (!), and then you had to do the stupid "Add Source" workaround - which works, but is a huge pain in the ass, especially, if, like me, you listen to a shit-ton of local files. It was like someone answered my dreams of having a perfectly-realized and micro-controllable music database. It was genius picking tracks, scrubbing, shuffling, even controlling the volume. I pay for Premium for Android and have been using Connect to play music in my back yard, from my desktop (which is hooked up to a stereo), for years, using my phone for a "remote" (I also use it on my bike rides, which is the main reason I subscribe to Premium). I know this is WiPiPo/1st-world problems 101, but Spotify used to be my dream app and now it seems as they're doing everything in their power (or nothing at all?) to ruin everything great that it was and drive away all of their customers (based on myriad complaints I see everywhere).
